THE NOTES:
The WHERE: Alsace, a picture postcard of a wine region,
tucked into the northeast of France, often mistaken as being Germanic, often overlooked as being French,
but very distinctly Alsatian…it is the ne plus ultra of wine growing areas.
The WHO: Jean Trimbach, the 12th generation of a family whose viticultural roots date to 1626.
Jean studied business in university then ventured to the U.S.A.
to learn English and the wine trade at Seagram Chateau & Estate.
He joined the family business in 1985,
eventually assuming the role of masterful storyteller from his famed uncle, Hubert.
The WHAT: a kaleidoscope of iterations of grapes that makes your wine soul go pitter patter
The WHY: presented with a matrix of grapes and terroirs, there was only one thing to do…
play 4-dimension wine chess
The MOTTO: faith is taking the first wine step even when you don’t see the entire wine staircase
*okay, okay, that is no more a motto for Trimbach than a statement of purpose from Martin Luther…
but People of America, trust that the wines of Alsace will truly enlighten your life

We look forward to honouring Jean
and the refined AND über yummy wines of Trimbach with you.
