Who Deserves a Glass of Riesling?
Chef José Andrés
of ThinkFoodGroup AND World Central Kitchen
Deserves a Glass of Riesling.
Why?

Because José Andrés and World Central Kitchen
are feeding many, many, many people during this COVID19 pandemic.
Yes, they were quick to be in Yokohama to feed the passengers of the Diamond Princess.
Yes, they were quick to be in Oakland to feed the passengers of the Grand Princess.
But today…and yesterday…and tomorrow, they are feeding vulnerable populations
in Washington, D.C., New York City, Detroit, Newark +++.

Because José Andrés and World Central Kitchen
immediately appear after a natural disaster or a humanitarian crisis,
anywhere on the planet, to feed the people.
They are by far the most prominent first responder for food.
They do not ask for permission to operate, they just operate.
While the vast majority of us ask ourselves “How can we help?”,
the World Central Kitchen says “Let’s Go!".

Because José Andrés and World Central Kitchen
recognize that charity is not about the redemption of the giver
but is absolutely about the liberation of the receiver.

Because José Andrés listened carefully to the Spanish poet, Antonio Machado:
“Wanderer, your footsteps are the road, and nothing more;
wanderer, there is no road, the road is made by walking.
By walking, one makes the road.”
The problems of America…poverty / hunger…have been around forever.
José Andrés is crafting a new road to address these issues.

Please support World Central Kitchen and its incredible mission.
