Simply put, Chile is the wine country
that MUST be front and center on your personal wine map.
Because what you thought you knew
about Chile needs a total revamping.
Chile, the country, is truly a wine matrix,
divided into north / south sections AND also east / west sectors.
In addition, there are the vineyards planted by the sea shore, at sea level,
and those planted at altitude, in the Andes Mountains.
Chile, the wine country, is one where we know all of the wine grapes,
as they are the usual wine grape suspects AND WE LOVE THEM
but it is also home to Pais, the foundational grape of the New World
(yes, dammit, you will be enjoying 500 years of wine history with each sip!).
Chile can truly be your wine everything.
We look forward to the exploration with you.
The specifics:
-it will be a walk-around tasting, with at least 25 different Chilean wines
-there will be foodstuffs, from empanadas to arrollado huaso
-we will hopefully have a speaker or two...at the very least we will recite some Pablo Neruda poems
All guests will need to show proof of vaccination to enter tasting.
