in California’s pre-eminent wine heartland,
the Napa Valley, is a perfect illustration
of terroir and grape and kick-arse winegrowers
coming together to craft art and beverage.
We will pay homage to the Cabernet Sauvignon promised land,
digging into its 19th century origin story,
kneeling at the altar of its greatest 1970s prophet
and communing with its cult status in the 1990s.
Suffice it to say, we are going big AND deep tonight.
