the OLD vs. the NEW world of grapes
May 18 2025 | 2:30 PM - 3:30 PM24 Harrison St, New York, NY 10013
Uhmmmmmm...is it even correct to reference the old world
AND the new world of grapes and wines?
It does have a modicum of meaning, the distinction.
It allows us to compare the birthplace of a grape
with its new homelands.
It allows us to compare the OG interpretation
of those grapes with its new iterations.
And while it is not a contest to determine
good / better / bestest, it is a measure of intent
to capture the supposed yumminess of said grapes and wines.
Regardless, we will explore this duality together
and see what might just be revealed.
The specifics of the event:
-it will be a seated gathering, at communal tables
-6 wines will be enjoyed during the class + a welcome wine
-there will be a snack, because we want your bellies to be happy
-there will be instruction and conversation...this is a class after all...
lasting roughly 60 minutes...and Paula will be leading this class
-there will not be a test at the finish of the class
We very much look forward to celebrating
the entire world of wine with you.
